making it a mixture of an anime like and US domestic cartoons.
The series follows the adventures of the main protagonist Aang and his friends,
who must save the world by defeating the evil Fire Lord and ending the destructive war with the Fire Nation.
The pilot episode first aired on February 21, 2005 and the series concluded with a widely-lauded two-hour television
movie on July 19, 2008.The show is available from the following sources: on DVD, the iTunes Store, the Zune Marketplace,
the Xbox Live Marketplace, the PlayStation Store, and its home on Nickelodeon.
Avatar is the new movie by Hollywood director James Cameron – the 3D film is nearly 60% computer generated and is
rumoured to have cost $300m (£187m). Much of the budget was spent on cutting-edge visual effects, and inventing entirely
new technologies to produce what is a live action film set in a CG world. We have a brand spanking new stereoscopic
3D camera for the live action portion of the shoot which is separate from the virtual camera and the performance capture
techniques, said Mr Cameron. Performance capture was used to record real actors’ movements which were then translated
into animated CG aliens called Na’vi. More tech info click here

According to Verisign’s bug tracking division iDefense, 45 bugs in Adobe’s Reader software were found by either cybersecurity researchers or malicious hackers this year and patched. In 2008, iDefense found 14 Reader bugs, double the number in 2007. To know more click here

Boeing announced Thursday that its window for a first flight would open Dec. 15 with the actual flight timing dependent on final internal reviews, taxi testing, weather and Federal Aviation Administration documentation.
The company has said it intends to put the 787 in the air at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The scheduled first flight marks the start of the flight test program toward the goal of obtaining an FAA certification, the newspaper reported. Boeing has 840 787s on order, and the company has said it hopes to deliver the first one late next year. The 787’s arrival has been hotly anticipated, but the jet’s delivery has suffered major delays and is more than two years behind schedule.
